MIT Future of Health and Wellness Conference - Poster submission due by Thursday, January 31

Dear postdocs,

A gentle reminder that posters for the MIT Future of Health and Wellness Conference, should be submitted online by Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 11:59pm. All postdocs, whether registered for the conference or not, are invited to register for the poster session by following this link<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHVHUUFzSjF2Y3lNYUo4SFBnMDRYY0E6MA#gid=0>.

The poster session, with a best poster prize of $1,000, will include (but not be limited to) themes such as:
• Technologies for behavior monitoring and advocacy of a healthier lifestyle
• Promoting wellness within specific populations (e.g., elderly, women, children, etc.) or of those with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease or dementia.
• Clinically-validated research on foodstuffs, natural products, exercise regimens or atypical non-drug therapeutics
• Mental health and wellness
• Other research related to preventative health and wellness


About the conference

As part of their mission to connect MIT research and the industry, the Industrial Liaison Office (ILP) is organizing the:
MIT Future of Health and Wellness Conference
February 6-7, 2013

This conference will convene R&D leaders from industry to learn about the state of research in preventative medicine and to hear current academic thought leadership on themes such as nutrition, obesity, aging, cardiovascular disease, etc. It will also explore innovative technologies as applied to behavioral monitoring and modification in the promotion of a healthier lifestyle.
