Dear MIT Postdocs,

We want to be sure you all know about MIT's Independent Activity Period
(IAP), and the numerous classes and activities at which you are welcome
throughout January (January 7 - February 1). Many meet for one hour and
are free.

Go to *http://web.mit.edu/iap/* and explore the listings of non-credit
areas by*sponsor <http://web.mit.edu/iap/www/iap13/iap/nstoc.html>* (see
for example Biology), *category
<http://web.mit.edu/iap/www/iap13/iap/nctoc.html>*, and/or date. Note
when advance sign-up is required, and check for any restrictions.
Categories include: Careers; Engineering; Law and Legal Issues;
Management and Entrepreneurship; Writing and Communication Skills;
Academic Skills and Resources; Research Skills; and many others. You
will also find some purely "fun" activities, and sessions related to
