Dr. John Gabrieli very successfully wears many hats: he is the Director
of the Martinos Imaging Center and an investigator at the McGovern
Institute; he is a professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive
Sciences and in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and
Technology; he co-directs the MIT Clinical Research Center and is
Associate Director of the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging located
at Massachusetts General Hospital. His lab studies principles of brain
organization that are consistent across individuals or vary across
people due to age, personality, and other dimensions of individuality.
They use brain imaging (functional and structural), and the experimental
behavioral study of patients with brain injuries, to study
brain-behavior relations across the life span, from children through the
elderly.

*Dr. Gabrieli will talk about how to manage your time, and along with
this, your lab and the projects you are working on. As your career, and
the corresponding demands on you, become more complex, these skills are
increasingly essential for getting things done effectively.
