Announcement of postdoc Fellowship from Veolia Environment

Dear MIT Postdoc Community,

As the MIT Liaison Officer for Veolia Environment, I would like to make 
you aware of an opportunity for additional funding for the upcoming 
year. Veolia is offering up to four postdoc fellowships with a target 
value of $40,000 each. While this is an open solicitation, the 
fellowship offer is being made to postdocs at a few select universities 
within the US. It is not going out nationally.

These fellowships are intended as a gift to supplement the funding for a 
post doc that is already working at MIT. Please see the attached 
document for details on the content and application process for these 
fellowships. Also, while Veolia still lists "transportation" as one of 
their core businesses, they are actively trying to sell off that 
business, so I recommend focusing proposals on energy, environment, and 
water, as they pertain to the topic description in the attached PDF.
