1. Facing Challenges, Overcoming Obstacles (*RSVP Required)
When: Monday, March 12, 5:00-6.30pm, Reception to follow.
Where: Sidney-Pacific Multi-purpose room
Panelists: Almaris Alonso (FDA), Shari Loessberg (MIT), Dana Moshkovitz (MIT), & Suzanne Oakley (MIT)
Successful local women discuss their individual journeys, the challenges they have faced, and lessons for graduate students.
We are pleased to present this event in collaboration with Sidney Pacific’s Committee of Scholarly Interaction.

2. Designing with Her in Mind

4. Women, Communication, and Power

5. Keynote: Digital Empowerment for the Real World: Using Social Media, Creating Social Change

Latoya Peterson discusses digital empowerment and the leveraging of technology against structural barriers such as race, gender, and class.

6. Climbing the Career Ladder: Gender and the Workplace
When: Friday March 16, 12:00-1:30pm, Lunch served at 11:45am.

Panelists: Pamela Benkert (Philips Healthcare), Leah Buechley (MIT), Aditi Garg (Tesla), Hilda Tang (Oliver Wyman)
A diverse panel of women discuss their experience establishing and sustaining careers in a variety of industries, as well as commenting on the evolving influence of gender in the workplace.
