Dear Colleagues,

Since MIT Postdoctoral Association announced the first Conference Travel Grant (CTG) in May, we have received 26 applications from all disciplines at MIT. After a committee review, we are pleased to announce the recipients of the Conference Travel Grant for Summer 2012 -

1. Mona Zebarjadi (Mechanical Engineering)
2. Kyle Smith (McGovern Institute for Brain Research)
3. Alexandra Naba (Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research)
4. Shan Jiang (Chemical Engineering)
5. Doerthe Eisele (Chemistry)

Each grant recipient will receive a PDA check in the amount of $400 to compensate the cost of conference traveling. Let's congratulate and wish them a successful presentation of their research at the conference!

A new CTG program for the Fall period (Oct. 2012 - Jan. 2013) is currently under preparation and the PDA will soon be ready to accept applications. The program information will also be accessible from the PDA website (web.mit.edu/pda/resources.html) once the application becomes open.
