Postdoc participation on presidential committees

Dear MIT Postdocs,
There is an opportunity for postdoc to serve on some of MIT's Presidential Committees, and Professor Canizares, Vice President for Research and Associate Provost, will forward a final recommendation for each committee. The following will have one postdoc per group:
Committee on Assessment of Biohazards and Embryonic Stem Cell Research Oversight
Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES)
Committee on Radiation Protection
Committee on Toxic Chemicals

Committee on Assessment of Biohazards and Embryonic Stem Cell Research Oversight:
The Committee meets quarterly, Jan-Mar-June-Sept
Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES):
As far as a time commitment, the committee meets monthly for approximately two hours except for August when it does not meet at all. The meetings are usually on the third Thursday of the month at 4:00 PM. Here are the dates for the remaining meetings in 2012:
August 2012 No Meeting
September 13, 2012
October 18, 2012
November 15, 2012
December 20, 2012
Committee on Radiation Protection:
As far as a time commitment, the committee meets for 1.5 hours quarterly, so there'd be an approximately 6 hour a year time commitment.
Committee on Toxic Chemicals:
Meets twice a year
