To my colleagues,

This year *MIT spouses&partners <http://web.mit.edu/spouses>* is 
celebrating its 40th anniversary. To mark this milestone, we invite you 
to join us at the MIT International Fair on Friday April 27th from 11 
a.m.- 3 p.m. on the Kresge Oval. You will find a welcoming and 
enthusiastic group at our booth where we will serve delicious food from 
around the world, made by our members.

Since its start in 1972, the purpose of *MIT spouses&partners* has been 
to make the transition to life at MIT easier for spouses and partners by 
assisting and encouraging them to build both social and professional 
networks.  Come show your support for this sometimes hidden yet vibrant 
community on our campus.

In addition, please save the date for a special evening event to honor 
our anniversary on *Thursday November 1st* from 7-9 p.m. We look forward 
to celebrating with you.
