2. Boston Babywearers at MIT
Wednesday March 16 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in W20-491
Baby Wearers carry their babies around in fabric carriers, providing a safe
and hands-free way of transporting infants. At Boston Baby Wearer
gatherings, members guide parents through informal demonstrations of a
variety of carriers. Licensed babywearing experts assist in the proper ways
to use a sling, wrap or pouch. Members also bring a lending library so that
people can try out different carriers before buying - it's free! (Please
bring cash or check for 50% deposit, refunded upon return of carrier.)
Significant others, older kids, prospective parents and all those interested
in babywearing are welcome at all events. You can find out more at
http://www.bostonbabywearers.com/

3. BabyNet playgroup
Tuesdays from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Eastgate Penthouse
BabyNet Playgroup is a joyful playgroup where MIT parents and children find
a space to play, sing and read stories together. Is also a great way to meet
other parents and for your children to play and interact socially. Children
from infancy to toddlerhood are welcome. We bring the toys, imagination and
open hearts for singing. Come along with your children and have fun with us.
