Dear Post Docs,
The School of Engineering would like to ask for your help and mentoring
in an outreach project for K-12 students. We are sponsoring
undergraduate and graduate students to make 5-8 minute educational
videos to engage K-12 students in science, technology, engineering and
math concepts. It is incredibly important that all of the technical
content in the videos be correct. This is where we would love your help.
We are looking for post docs from across the Institute to volunteer to
have mentoring sessions with video-makers in 2 hour blocks throughout
the month of January (1/2-1/27). We would love for undergraduates and
graduates to come to you to review, correct and validate the technical
content of their videos before they film. We are looking for your
expertise in physics, biology, chemistry, earth sciences, and all the
engineering fields.
After the videos have been submitted, we'll need to review the content.
So we'd also appreciate your assistance reviewing the videos and
ensuring the quality and accuracy of their content during the week of
January 30th.
If you are interested in volunteering, please give us some information
using this link

For more information about the project and to view example videos,

We are so excited about this project and incredibly appreciative of your
engagement.
Sincerely,
Becky
