ATTENTION WOMEN POSTDOCS:  THERE ARE STILL A FEW SLOTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROGRAM.  REGISTER NOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING.

Here are the program details:

Graduate women students and women postdocs in science and engineering who are within 2 years of PhD completion and are considering a faculty career are invited to register now for Path of Professorship which will be held on October 22rd and 23th. This 1.5 day workshop will focus on skills, strategies and "insider information" necessary to succeed in securing a faculty position, negotiating the tenure track, and advancing to other leadership positions. More than 20 women faculty speakers  will share their wisdom, insights and advice.

Please note that space is limited, and there has been a wait list each year, so aspiring participants are encouraged to register immediately. A small number of seats will be held for postdoctoral women referred by their departments.

DATE: Friday, October 22rd and  Saturday, October 23th

TIME: 1pm-8pm on Friday and 8:30am-5pm on Saturday

LOCATION: MIT Faculty Club

NOTE: All meals are provided. Professor Gilda Barabino of Georgia Tech will be the guest speaker at dinner on Friday.
