MENTORS WANTED:

Get a head start on your road to becoming a successful PI or faculty member.
Help someone achieve their dream of obtaining a PhD.
Spread the word about your area of research.
Share your wealth of knowledge.
Make a positive difference in the life & success of a 1st year
graduate student.

Join the Office of the Dean for Graduate Education's pilot mentoring
program to increase the retention of graduate students, especially
those from underrepresented minorities and disadvantaged backgrounds
through meaningful mentorship by postdoctoral researchers!

We will pair 1st year graduate students with post-docs based on
similar research interests. There is a very flexible time commitment
expected from the mentors and 1st years. We look forward to working
together to improve the graduate and post-doc experience at MIT.

please reply to joyj at mit.edu by Monday, October 26th!
