Mark Shalinsky, an associate editor of the Journal of Visualized Experiments is
going to give a talk on the journal at the Picower institute (46-3261) on Mar
5th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. The event has been organized by a postdoc Asha Bhakar.
JoVE: You submit a protocol, we send a film crew.
Since JoVEs inception in 2006, JoVE has grown and is publishing almost 20 video
articles a month (already 300 published in Pubmed). The JoVE readership has
grown consistently by 30K page views for the past 4 quarters. We are on target
to maintain this growth and hit 160,000 views for the first quarter in 2009.
JoVEs demographics are scientists from academia and industry world wide.
Individual articles garner from 2000 to 4000 views in the first 4-6 weeks of
being published.
For a post-doc looking for a faculty position, JoVE is an exceptional
way to get
noticed by the global scientific community while obtaining high end video
content for a job talk.
