Presented by Dave Jensen, Forum Moderator, AAAS Science Careers
Discussion Forum and AAAS "Tooling Up" Columnist:
If you are considering the academia to industry transition somewhere
down the road, or are in the market currently, you may wonder if you
are unleashing your full potential. After all, it's very easy to get
disappointed when you only receive the occasional postcard back in
return from dozens of applications. Are you engaging your full
creative talent and energy in your job search? Or, do you sometimes
feel that you are simply going through the motions? In this workshop,
Dave will explore some of the underlying self-assessment that will
help you improve your overall effectiveness in what is a very
important time of your life. The result will be a holistic,
process-oriented approach for tapping into your full potential and
empowering yourself to succeed in the difficult job search process.
