IAP events of interest to postdocs

Attached please find a long list of workshops and activities being 
offered this month (MIT Independent Activities Period) that we think 
may be of particular interest to postdocs.  Feel free to print it out 
and keep it on hand this month.  In an effort not to overburden the 
list, we'll send out a week's worth of items on Monday of the week. 
We hope you'll take advantage of much that has been planned for this 
month.

Of special note is the Project Management 101 workshop on January 
29th, sponsored by the Postdoctoral Scholars Advisory Council.  It is 
part of the continuing Getting There, Getting Started series and has 
a stellar cast of participants, led by Vice President for Research, 
Claude Canizares.  We particularly hope that you will find this 
workshop of interest and will attend.
