Preparing for the Academic Interview
Thurs., 2/28/08
11am-12:30pm
This Thursday's workshop on Preparing for Academic Interviews will
feature some advice from an MIT junior faculty member who can still
remember what the academic interview process was like. Our focus is
NOT on how to give a job talk, but on the overall on campus interview
day. In addition to insights and tips from someone who's
successfully gone through the academic interview process, you'll have
a chance to practice answering some typical interview questions. Past
participants have noted that this is a beneficial exercise.
