Summer Postdoc BBQ Event, Friday, July 21st, 4-7 pm

Tonight - Thursday, July 13th, is the kick-off event of a weekly 
concert series at
the Muddy Charles Pub. Come and enjoy the jazz and world beats of Gretchen
Elise and her band in the usual friendly Muddy atmosphere.  Admission is FREE,
so bring your friends and spread the word!

This week is an open jam.  After an opening set, Gretchen will invite
other musicians to join her. Bring your instrument and join in!

And a reminder about our BBQ next Friday...

The time has come to celebrate the annual summer Postdoc BBQ event, 
to be held this year on Friday July 21st, and sure to be an evening 
of unrivaled conviviality and comradery. This year, we have the 
pleasure of inviting you all to an evening of food, music, and fun 
(see invitation attached). You can expect to be served some of the 
best BBQ from our cooking experts, which shall include some 
delectable BLUE RIBBON barbequed meats, refreshing drinks and 
desserts. The event takes place at Walker Lawn, which is the grassy 
strip located along Memorial Drive between Walker Memorial and Hayden 
Library.
