Preparing for Academic Job Interviews

This interactive workshop is geared to doctoral students and postdocs 
interested in preparing for academic job interviews. One or two MIT 
affiliates who have accepted junior faculty positions, will share 
their insights and offer suggestions for effective academic job 
interviews. During the workshop participants will practice typical 
academic interview questions with peers. The focus of this workshop 
is not on the "job talk" (seminar) but on typical questions that may 
be asked during one to one meetings which are part of the academic 
interview process.

One panelist will be Penny Beuning, a Postdoc from the MIT Biology 
Department, who will join Northeastern University as as a 
tenure-track assistant professor in Chemistry and Chemical Biology in 
July. Other panelist TBA.
