The Center for Work, Family, & Personal Life is pleased to announce
our upcoming seminar entitled Negotiating Job Flexibility, led by
Kathy Simons, co-manager of the MIT Center for Work, Family, &
Personal Life, and Barbara Peacock-Coady, manager of Career Planning
@ MIT.
This workshop will provide an introduction to flexible work schedule
arrangements, including job sharing, telecommuting, flexible
schedules, leaves, and part-time work. Participants will be offered a
summary of MIT policies and resources and a format for developing a
workable flex-time or flex-leave proposal.
This seminar will be held on Friday, May 6, 2005, from 12:00 noon to
2:00 PM, in the Rice conference room, Room E19-207f. The seminar is
open to all members of the MIT community, free of charge. Please feel
free to bring your lunch, light refreshments will be provided.
