Dear Postdoctoral Colleagues,

I am writing to inform you that Sigma Xi has extended the deadline for
completion of their Postdoctoral Survey.  I would like to encourage you to
take the few moments needed to respond to this confidential survey.  I have
seen a presentation of their study and believe that it is very well
designed and will provide very useful information to postdoctoral
associations and academic institutions. I hope that you can help make
MIT's response to the survey an important contribution to this study.  The
survey will remain open until January 15th.
