Global Indus Technovators Awards 2004

Indian Business Club @ MIT proudly presents to you Global Indus
Technovators Awards 2004, which will be held on Nov 17 at the Wong
Auditorium, MIT Sloan School of Management from 6 to 9:30 pm. Our
keynote speaker for the event is
Tom Leighton, Founder and Chief Scientist of Akamai.
The awards, which were instituted earlier last year by the Indian
Business Club @ MIT, seek to recognize outstanding young technology
innovators of South Asian descent. These awards have been established
to increase awareness about the
technological contributions of young South Asians across the globe.

PREPARING FOR ACADEMIC JOB INTERVIEWS
FRI., DEC. 10, 11am-12:30pm
This interactive workshop is geared to doctoral students and postdocs
interested in preparing for academic job interviews. One or two MIT
alums who are now in junior faculty positions, will share their
insights and offer suggestions for effective academic job interviews.
During the workshop participants will practice typical academic
interview questions with peers. The focus of this workshop is not on
the job talk(seminar) but on typical questions that may be asked
during one to one meetings which are part of the academic interview
