The GWIS National Conference, "Building Bridges" will be hosted by
the Boston chapter, at Northeastern University, June 10-13.
The scientific session on June 12 will be an invaluable networking
opportunity, as our members come from across the country and all fields of
science. This session will include inspiring and informative presentations
by accomplished scientists.
The conference program for June 10-11 will consist of business meetings
and social activities and the main session will be June 12, concluding
with brunch on June 13.

Reduced registration fees for GWIS members and students!
We may be able to waive registration fees for volunteer service
to the conference. Register before APRIL 30 for the best rates!
We are currently accepting abstracts for the poster session. Posters may
be on scientific topics or on educational outreach. Please see

Graduate Women in Science is a professional organization
for any woman who holds at least a bachelor's or equivalent
in any area of science. Undergraduate students are welcome to
join as affiliate members.
Our current membership includes graduate students, post-docs,
professors, women in industry, biotech, consulting,
as well as in the midst of retraining. We are a local (Boston/New
England) chapter affiliated with the national organization.
