Apply for the Habitat for Humanity Executive Board!

*Want to make a difference on campus?  Leave behind a positive legacy at
MIT?  If so, then apply for the Habitat for Humanity 2011-2012 Executive
Board!!  Everyone is welcome to apply, whether you are a freshmen who's
never participated in Habitat before, a senior who's pretty much ready to
check out, or a grad student!

*Why should I apply to be on the Habitat Exec Board?*

   - Gain leadership experience
   - Learn how to plan large on- and off-campus events
   - Get full access to all Habitat events and builds
   - Build connections with key MIT administrators
   - Get involved in public service!

*What would my responsibilities be as a member of Habitat Exec?

   - Attend weekly meetings, usually on Sundays, at a time that works for
   everyone
   - Help plan all Habitat events (see habitat.mit.edu for event details)

*What are the open positions?
*

   - *Treasurer: *Manage club operations budget, apply for financial grants
   - *Secretary: *Document executive meeting notes, assist in planning club
   operations
   - *Build Day Coordinator: *Work with regional Habitat for Humanity
   affiliates to organize and execute build days
   - *Spring Break Trip Coordinator: *Facilitate the organization of our
   annual spring break trip
   - *Events Coordinator: *Plan and organize our campus-wide events
   - *Publicity Coordinator: *Increase Habitat awareness by publicizing club
   activities and campus-wide events
   - *Webmaster: *Redesign/manage Habitat's website; assist in building an
   online build day sign-up system.
