[Habitat] Saturday (Sep. 11) Build Day

Hey all,

For those of you who are new to the habitat mailing list, here's your first invitation to come build a house with MIT Habitat! With the first week of classes under your belt, there's no better way to unwind than swinging a hammer and spending all day getting dirty and covered in service.

This Saturday, September 11 we will be building in North Shore, which currently has two houses at the same site. One is currently under demolition and the other is well on its way to completion, so you can get a taste of all that our build days have to offer. If you would like to join us, just reply to this email with your name and class year, but do so soon because positions fill up fast!

The build will run roughly from 7am to 4pm.  No experience is required--breakfast and lunch will also be provided.  More specific details will be sent out to the volunteers as the build day approaches. In addition, we will need at least two drivers.  If you are 18 or older and able to drive, please let me know!  If you have your own car, let me know how many it can hold (including the driver), otherwise, we will rent one for you.

Let me know if you have any questions.  We will have having more build days throughout the school year, so you can go to as many as your heart desires!
