Hi all,

We have been working with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell for over a
year, working on their site in Bedford, Massachusetts. Last year, we helped
them throughout their renovation of an old farmhouse, and this year, we have
begun to work on the adjacent houses with them (see photos at
habitat.mit.edu). Unfortunately, their trailer of equipment was recently
broken into, and $3,500 worth of tools stolen. If you happen to have any of
the tools listed below lying around collecting dust, please consider
donating them!

Best,

Grace Lee

*We Could Use Some Tools!
*
I am sorry to report that our construction trailer at the Bedford site was
broken into last week, and over $3,500 of our power tools were taken. This
is the second time we have had a break in at the site. The first was less
than a month ago when $200 in donations were taken. We will be purchasing
some alarm equipment to put on the trailer for the future.

But in the mean time, we need to replace all the tools taken so we may
continue to build homes for those in need and give them a chance at a better
life.

If you have good to excellent tools collecting dust in your garage that you
don't need, we would love a donation. This could include drills, power saws,
miter saws....What is not donated we will have to buy out of our limited
funds.

It is a shame that someone would take the tools necessary to help others in
need. But we will continue and focus on the good work our donors, volunteers
and staff do.

Bless all of you this holiday season, and thank you for your continued
support.

Dana Owens
Executive Director
