Hello everyone,

It's not too late to apply for the Habitat Executive Board! Habitat Exec is a
great way to get more involved in our organization, and to participate in the
crucial planning and operation phases of our events.

The open positions are: (see below for position responsibilities)
- Build day coordinator
- Spring break trip coordinator
- Campus Build coordinator
- Fundraising committee

Instead of a paper application, the officers and I will be conducting brief,
informal interviews. Email me back if you are interested in applying!

Cheers,

Grace Lee
MIT Habitat for Humanity club, President

Build day coordinator:
- Sign up with local Habitat chapters for build days. Arrange any necessary
logistics with site supervisors of the chapters.

the build sites.

of course.

Campus Build coordinator:
- Contact local Habitat chapters about projects that we can build on campus and
then transport to them.
- Obtain lumber donations from local companies, such as Home Depot.
- Arrange for speakers (ie. Habitat homeowners) and brainstorm other ways to
make this into a huge awareness event!
- Publicize the event on campus.

Spring break trip coordinator:
- Coordinate with Habitat Int?l to register for the Habitat Collegiate
Challenge.
- Recruit and pick students to attend the trip.
- Apply for grants from the PSC and UA.
- Organize trip logistics, such as flight information and accommodations.

Fundraising committee:
- Brainstorm potential fundraisers to conduct on campus. Habitat Int?l has a
list of awesome Habitat-related fundraisers that we could pursue.
- Conduct fundraisers.
- Contact local companies about donating money to co-sponsor a Habitat house.

NOTE: The lists of responsibilities may look daunting, but remember, you won?t
be working alone! The rest of Habitat exec, particularly the officers, will
help out with all initiatives. We will have monthly meetings to share ideas
and provide updates on our specific projects. The dates and times of these
meetings are flexible.
