The Youth United initiative is one of the newest projects of the Greater
Boston Habitat for Humanity. Through this initiative, youth between the
ages of 5 and 25 will raise all the money to fund a Habitat House. The
house itself will be built by the older Youth United volunteers (ages 16-25).

MIT Habitat, along with many other Boston-area college chapters, has
decided to become involved with the Youth United initiative. As a chapter,
we will be sending volunteers to the site and raising money for the project.

However, we would also like to have the MIT chapter involved in the
decision-making process. We are looking for people who would be interested
in applying for a position on the Youth United board or in one of the YU
committees (see below!!).
The Board will be having a meeting THIS Thursday at 5pm, in the HFH Greater
Boston Office at 273 Summer Street, 3rd Floor (directions are at the bottom).
If you are interested in getting involved with the Youth United board,
please EMAIL ME by **tomorrow** (Wednesday) and I will send you the
application form. Please print out the form, fill it out (it takes 5 min.),
and bring it with you to the meeting.

Please email me with any specific questions. I apologize for the late notice.

Thanks!

-Radhika Jagannathan
