Hi Joanne,

My name is Josh Zeidman and I am the president of MIT's Habitat for
Humanity club. I received your email and was told that you would be
the person to contact at Flour regarding potential donations and
sponsorships for events, so I was hoping you would be able to help us
out.

Our club holds an event each semester call the Beaver Dash; a 5k race
around MIT’s campus open to the entire MIT community. MIT students,
faculty, staff as well as members from the community come together on
a Sunday morning in April to race either individually or as a relay
around the west side of campus. The event has been well attended and
fun with music, food and prizes and we had over 350 people register
this past fall. We also raised almost 3000 dollars this past fall. All
proceeds from the event go towards running our biweekly builds as well
as our greater goal of paying for our own MIT Habitat for Humanity
home in the greater Cambridge area. Each Beaver Dash brings us closer
to this goal, which would allow us to make an even greater positive
impact on our community.

We were hoping that Flour Bakery would be willing to help us with this
cause.  If you would be willing to donate a giftcard or two which we
could use as prizes for the winners of our race, it would really help
our event.  All donations would be tax deductible and as a sponsor of
our event we would include you on all of our t-shirts and fliers which
go out to the MIT community.
