Dear LEF/ARCADE applicants,
We have decided to change the allocation for Spring BeaverDash to $1200. This
money cannot be used towards the timing company or t-shirts. Please submit
your publicity materials to lef-arcade at mit.edu when they are ready (as
discussed in our meeting). We are further requiring you to meet with the
LEF/ARCADE Board during this semester, after the event, to discuss the future
of this event.
Email lef-arcade at mit.edu with any questions.
More instructions for events that received funding:
1. Review, fill out, and submit your Funding Contract by March 31. If you
do not submit this contract, we may withhold funding transfers. The contract
is available here:
https://asa.scripts.mit.edu:444/applications/lef/contract.php
2. Be in touch with the Student Activities Office (W20-549), particularly if
you need to register your event (likely the case for all large events) or if
you need to sign contracts with any speakers or performers.
3. We would also like to highlight a few terms of the contract. In particular,
you are asked to register your event on events.mit.edu at least two weeks in
advance of the event. Also, all promotional material must indicate "Sponsored
by LEF" or "Sponsored by ARCADE". You will be asked to verify these in your
post-event report.
4. The LEF/ARCADE policy is to transfer funds only after a post-event report is
submitted and reviewed to ensure adherence to the original application.
Instructions, templates, and examples are available at:
http://mit.edu/asa/resources/post-event-report.html.
Reports for this funding cycle are due by July 15. Please note that you may
submit reimbursements at any time and your account is allowed to go negative
due to expenses covered by your LEF/ARCADE allocation.
Please don't hesitate to contact lef-arcade at mit.edu with any questions.
Sincerely,
Kendra Beckler
for LEF/ARCADE
