[Habitat Exec] MIT Habitat for Humanity Donation Request

Dear Dennis,

Hope you are doing well.  My name is Josh Cohen, and I am President of MIT
Habitat for Humanity.  As you may recall, we reached out to you last year
in the fall to see if you would be willing to make a donation for our
annual fundraiser 5K race (the Beaver Dash).  The event was extremely
successful; we raised over $2,000 and had over 120 runners in the event.
 This year, we will be hosting the event on 10/09/11.

Last year, you were pivotal in helping us achieve a successful event by
generously donating a variety of lunch foods (quesadillas, burritos, chips,
and salsa) for the post-race celebration.  We have limited resources as a
student-run organization at MIT; we rely heavily on donations from outside
organizations. We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us by
making another contribution towards our event or by donating any food.  In
return for your generosity, we would be happy to include Anna’s Taqueria’s
logo on the back of Beaver Dash participant T-shirts, display a sign for
Anna’s Taqueria at the site of our event, and include a printed
acknowledgement of your donations in material that will be distributed
during the fundraiser.  I wanted to know if I could speak with you to
discuss possibilities for having a donation again this year.  Please let me
know when is most convenient to you.
