[Habitat Exec] [Finboard] Medium Events Fund (MEF) for July-December 2011

Dear Finboard Groups,

Finboard will be doing our twice-annual MEF allocations on April 24th. I
will send out some details about how to apply, soon. Please meet with your
executive boards to discuss whether this is something your group is
interested in applying for!

Medium Events are* events* that cost *less than the $2,500* required for
LEF, but *more than the $500 *or so that Finboard usually funds for events.
The funding philosophy is, otherwise, pretty much the same for MEF as it is
for LEF or Finboard.

Your application will need to include the following:
1.  A line item breakdown of expenses for the event.
2.  A written defense with the following:
A.  Estimated date and time of event
B.  Expected number of attendees including estimations of what portion will
be active members of the group and what portions will be MIT students, other
MIT affiliates, and non-MIT-affiliates
C.  Potential location for event and whether or not it is reserved
D.  Any collaborating student groups or MIT departments, programs, or
offices
E.  Whether the event has been held before
