 I hope this finds you well.  On behalf of the thousands of local veterans
who have served all of us, we invite you and your members to join us for an
new exciting race. "The Run to Home Base" is a unique 9K fundraising run
through scenic Boston ending with the once-in-a-lifetime experience of
crossing “home base” ( the actual home plate) at historic Fenway Park.
Friends and family can watch from the stands, with food, entertainment and
fun family activities in the concourses of America’s Most Beloved
Ballpark.  The
race takes place on Sunday, May 23rd at 8am.

The Run to Home Base will help raise much needed funds for the new Red Sox
Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program to provide
essential services to veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan suffering
from combat stress disorders and/or traumatic brain injuries and counseling
for them and their families.

Race participation will be capped and a maximum of only 4,000 runners will
be able to enter. Given the cause -- and the chance to thank the thousands
of brave servicemen and women who have sacrificed so much for all of us --
we hope you will help promote this run and encourage your members to
register today.

We have attached a flyer you can display onsite at your facilities and
distribute
to your members to make it as easy as possible. I am happy to provide you
with produced flyers as well.  We appreciate your generous support in
spreading the word about the new Run to Home Base 9K.  If you have any
