This looks like an AWESOME opportunity to think outside of the box for other
fundraising ideas.  Who can go?  It's on Monday Feb 22 from 7-9pm, and you
have to RSVP by this Wednesday.  We should send at least 4 people.  Let me
know if you can go!!

And see you all at 8pm at WILG (or 7:50 at 77 Mass Ave) tonight!

 Dear student service group leaders,

Welcome back to MIT! I am delighted to invite you and a few of your fellow
group members to attend a special service training on fundraising, which the
PSC has organized in response to an overwhelming number of student requests
for fundraising help. The event will feature panelists from the Alumni
Association, Resource Development, and the Student Activities Office – all
of whom have a strong handle on strategies for fundraising inside and
outside of the MIT community.

We are asking students to help us make this event as useful as possible.
Panelists will answer questions generated by your groups and lead breakout
sessions designed to help you develop personalized fundraising plans. The
goal is that when you walk out of the room at the end of the session, you
will have a happy and full stomach AND a good idea of how your service group
can meet its fundraising goals.

Event Recap
WHO: Student service group leaders – try to send 2-3 members of your group
so you can attend multiple breakout sessions!
WHAT: Student service training on fundraising
WHEN: February 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHERE: Bush Room (10-105)
WHY: So your group can develop a personalized plan for fundraising, enjoy
some delicious free appetizers and desserts, and learn from panelists who
work with MIT donors on a daily basis!
HOW: RSVP by **February 17** and submit your fundraising questions and
breakout session preferences online:

Once you have RSVP’d by filling out the Google form (link above), you will
receive a confirmation e-mail with the breakout session for which you are
