[Habitat Exec] Habitat officer positions

Hey guys,
As I mentioned at today's meeting, Clarissa and I are going to choose next
year's officers soon, so that we can start the transitioning process early.
I encourage every one of you to apply!! In order to apply, you just need to
email me and Clarissa (clzimmer at mit.edu) a description of why you are
interested in a particular position(s). Applications are due this Saturday,
Feb 6.

PRESIDENT
- Run weekly meetings
- Ensure each exec member is actively involved and accomplishing their
responsibilities
- Lead the group in setting goals for the year/semester
- Logistics: maintaining the mailing list, working with the treasurer on the
budget and funding applications
- Networking with other service groups, student groups, PSC, other MIT
offices and admins
VICE PRESIDENT
- Assisting the president in ensuring exec member involvement
- Assisting with event planning
- Runs meetings if president is absent
- Keeps president sane :)
TREASURER
- Writes budget with president, applies for UA funding each semester
- Assists exec members with obtaining funding from other sources
- Manages reimbursements and the Habitat main and funding accounts
SECRETARY
- Takes minutes at each meeting
- Arranges meeting times when necessary
- Reserves locations for events
- In charge of letter-writing (ie. to possible corporate sponsors), when
necessary
