Student Group Officers,

For the third year in a row, the SLOPE committee has decided to host a major event on the Tuesday night of Orientation featuring student groups. This event, the MIT T-Party, will be held on Stata's Student Street on the evening of Tuesday, August 26th from 8:00-10:00. It will be a great chance to interact with the class of 2012 and to show them how diverse and unique the MIT community truly is.

The purpose of this event is to entertain the incoming class while displaying the diversity of student activities at MIT. Although the theme has not yet been decided, we can say that similar groups will be placed in proximity to each other, much like they were with the T setup in previous years. Examples of activities include: martial arts demonstrations, arts and crafts, and food handouts.

Please use the link below to access the registration form.

As you apply, please keep the following in mind:

1. This is NOT the activities midway! The purpose of this event is to entertain the freshmen, not to recruit for your group. In compliance with ASA rules, you are not permitted to sign up students at this event; you must wait until the Midway.

2. Due to limited space in Stata, we may not be able to accept everyone if interest is high.

3. Similar groups are encouraged to apply using a single form.

4. The default space allocated to each group will be determined by the CAC.

5. If your group members sign up for Early Return status on this application, they must also complete the formal Early Return registration process by July 1st.

Thanks, and have a great summer!
