EC had a huge clothing drive and no one actually arranged to have it
picked up.
if you want to get them, you are definitly welcome to come and take
them. There
are three huge bins of them (more than 20 loads of laundry per bin) and
they are
in the East Campus basement, if you go to the entrence at main desk, there
are
stairs going down to the basement, go down the stairs and on your left is a
little room with three bins of clothing that say for CASPAR. hunger action
actually organized the clothing drive but no one has taken responsibility
for
it and I doubt anyone will. I've tried to get the salvation army to take it
away, but they are annoying and since I have classes when they pick up, they
just drove away without the clothing. I would rather the clothing go to
homeless shelters than salvation army anyways.
