[mit-habitat-exec] FW: Row for Humanity

Hi all,

I think we should make the donation to Merrimack Valley Habitat.  I’ll
e-mail the site and see how we go about sending them a donation.  Any strong
objections to this plan?  Also, do you know how much money we raised?

On a different note, Theta Chi is going to hold a fundraiser sometime in the
upcoming weeks on our behalf.  They aren’t requiring any help from us, just
the use of our name which is kind of awesome.  They are going to donate all
of their proceeds to our chapter.  The fundraiser itself will be selling hot
dogs outside of the Galleria Mall.

Harvard’s Habitat Chapter is hosting a party Saturday, April 15th in Harvard
Yard.  If anyone is interested in attending, let me know so I can send you
more information.  Basically, we’re just supposed to show up and have a good
time.  They are also interested in starting a forum for all the Habitat
Chapters in the area.  I think I’m going to tell them this is a good idea.
If you have any objections, let me know.

Breakfast fundraiser is going to be Friday, April 28th.  Keep that day open
so you can help work booth and get all the food to campus.  So far we have
donations from Starbucks, Costco, Alpine, Forbes Café, and Bruegger’s
Bagels.  Plan on having a meeting at the beginning of that week, Monday or
Tuesday.  Which day works better for everyone?  The meeting would probably
be at 8 pm.

Campus Build is Saturday, April 29th.  Plan on helping out for a good
portion of the day.  We’ll send out more details once we have everything
finalized.

I think those are all of my announcements for now.

I have confirmed that you are listed as a Financial Signatory for the 

group so I can give you the details. Please note that in the future 

you can get all of this online. Your account numbers are available in 

your group's  ASA database information and also if you have 

authorization to view your account online the account numbers appear 

on any of the Student Group Reports that you open up.

I have also attached a copy of MIT's W-9 form that is used to give to 

companies requesting confirmation of your federal tax id number. This 

is available from the MIT Procurement web page with other forms.
