Please read this email as it contains information important to your student group(s).
Applications for office space are now available. Please be aware of the hard deadline:
10/28.

1. Office Space Applications
-------------------------------------------

It is time to apply for office space on campus! The application can be found at
https://web.mit.edu/asa/www/offices/2005/. This application must be submitted online. We
cannot accept hard copies.

This form requires an MIT personal certificate to identify yourself. Please visit the
page below for more information about certificates:
http://web.mit.edu/ist/topics/certificates/

The deadline to submit this application is Saturday, October 29th at 11:59PM.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS DEADLINE. This is a hard deadline. Late applications
will not be accepted.

Office space allocations occur every two years. Groups currently occupying an office MUST
fill out the application to be considered for an office space. Allocations will happen
through the fall semester, assignments will be released in December, and groups will move
to their assigned offices during IAP (January 2006).

2. Bulletin Board Appeals
---------------------------------------

We would like to remind you that the bulletin board appeals process is in session. If
your student group would like to appeal for either a bulletin board space or reassignment
to a different bulletin board space, please send an email to asa-exec at mit.edu detailing
your request and reasons for your request. Appeals will be considered on a case-by-case
basis after Friday, October 21st.

Groups which currently have bulletin board space must use their space appropriately to
avoid losing this privilege.

3. FYSM Payment - this week!
-----------------------------------------------

If your group has participated in the First Year Summer Mailing (FYSM), $60 will be
withdrawn this week from the account specified on the FYSM Payment Form. If your group
participated in the FYSM but failed to submit a form, $60 will be withdrawn from your
group's MAIN (not funding) ACCOUNT.

Please make sure your group has funds to cover the FYSM in its account!!
