Do we have any large events planned? Should we?
Also, something that I'd like to try to do is have a sleep-out. I imagine
it would probably involve a handful of people sleeping outside on Kresge for
some period of time. We could pass out some flyers and accept donations,
and generally raise awareness about homelessness. It probably wouldn't be a
large or cultural event, but it is still something to think about.

Applications for the next Large Event Fund (LEF) and Assisting Recurring
Cultural and Diversity Events (ARCADE) Fall 2005 funding cycle are now being
accepted.
Please submit funding requests for events that will take place between Sept.
15
and Dec. 31, 2005.
The deadline for applications is Sunday, Sept. 11.
Application and proxy forms can be found at the following link:

Important notes:
- Applications and proxy forms should be dropped at the SLP Office (W20-549)
- You must submit one application per event (or series) and one proxy form
for
each group organizing the event
- Please save Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 14 and 15 for presenting your
application defense with the funding board. A time for your defense will be
offered
