Dear Student Groups,
Please read this entire email as it contains important information about the *Activities
Midway*. The map and table assignments for the 2005 Activities Midway are up on the ASA
website. Please visit the link below.
http://web.mit.edu/asa/www/Midway/2005/midway_2005.pdf
There are four components to this document:
1. Map
2. Map with tables marked for electricity and TV (red tables requested electricity, red
table with a green dot requested a TV/VCR)
3. Table Assignments
4. Performance Schedule
Please look over this file. Unfortunately, there were approximately 50 more tables
requested than the number of tables that Johnson actually has space for. We were not able
to grant more than one table to many groups that requested two or three tables. In
addition, we have done our best to satisfy the specific spacing requests and performance
time requests that groups have made. However, if there are any mistakes or if something
really must be changed, please email asa-exec at mit.edu immediately.
Please send us any such emails by **Thursday, August 25th** at the latest. We will not be
able to make changes after this date.
The Activities Midway is on Friday, September 2nd in Johnson, 4pm - 7pm.
TIME SCHEDULE for September 2nd:
10am-12noon: students on ASA early returns help with general setup
12noon-3pm: groups check in and set up their own table(s) for the event
4pm: doors open
7pm: the event is scheduled to end at this time
(After the event, groups are expected to clean up after themselves.)
**GROUPS MUST CHECK IN.** There will be a fine for groups that do not check in by 3pm. In
addition, if a group does not check in by 3pm, that group's table will be given away.
Checking in informs us that your table is being used.
Groups with performance times need to check in with the Performance Coordinator at the
Artistic Performance Area 10 minutes prior to their scheduled performance time.
We look forward to seeing you on September 2nd. Enjoy the remainder of the summer!
Sincerely,
The ASA Executive Board
