Dear Student Groups,

Based on input from student groups, the ASA Executive Board has decided to
send a CD-ROM to incoming students as the First Year Summer Mailing (FYSM).
The FYSM will no longer be paper-based; instead, each group wanting to
participate in the FYSM will be allotted space on the CD-ROM and will be
able to submit electronic information to be sent out to incoming students.

For extended information, deadlines, and links to webforms regarding the
FYSM, please click on the following link:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT DEADLINES (also found at the link above):
Wednesday, May 4th: Group identification, contact info and estimated megabytes
Friday, May 20th: Group descriptions, keywords, optional image and logo
Friday, June 3rd: Group additional data (optional)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: There are a total of three (3) webforms involved in this process. The
first two are required; the third one is optional. It is each group's
responsibility to ensure timely submission of each form in order to
participate in the FYSM.

As always, please email asa-exec at mit.edu if you have
questions/comments/concerns.

Sincerely,
The ASA Executive Board
