We actually have a workday on May 7th that needs to be filled.  Would you be
interested in taking it for you and your friends?  We would provide
directions and all the information you need, as well as transportation if
you cannot provide it for yourself.

I used to volunteer when I was a student at MIT a few years back.  Now that
I am an alumni and was wondering if you could still use my help.  I have a
group of friends who are also interested.  Could we do a volunteer day some
weekend when students are typically too busy (like during the summer or
finals maybe?)  Please let me now!
