I think we thought about it last year, but there were two issues. One was
that
MIT did not like the idea of MIT students using sharp objects at a Spring
Weekend event. And the second was that we weren't sure if we had the tools
to
do it, or the time and man-power.
We spent a lot of last year teaching people and fixing people's screw-ups
(yes,
they could screw up hammering two pieces of wood together). And we had most
of
exec there all day last year, which we may not have this time.
Not sure - if you guys think you can pull it off, cutting the wood
yourselves
might not be a bad idea. You'd have to clear it with Spring Weekend and
probably promise that only exec would touch a saw. Do people know how to use
a
power saw?
