[mit-habitat-exec] Breakfast Food Sale

Hi everyone,

Jeff, Anjuli, and I have been working on getting prepared for the breakfast food
sale we have talked about.  The day of the sale will be Friday Nov. 7th in Lobby
10 and I reserved a booth for that day.  I also reserved space on the kiosks in
Lobby 7, so we need to make a drop poster advertising for this before Nov. 1.  I
think a big thing in getting this to work will be to have people know its coming
and not buy food or eat breakfast elsewhere that day.  Talk to to your friends,
tell people about it, and get people into it...otherwise we will have a lot of
cold coffee and dried muffins to be snacking on for the rest of the year.

So far, I know of a several things we know we can get donated:
10-20 gallons of starbucks coffee (we shooting for 25)
36 bagels from Rebecca's cafe
Several platters of assorted pastries from Au Bon Pain
We will also be buying Krispy Kremes at a discounted rate and the number we get
will be a function of how much other stuff we have.
We are still working on Alpine, LaVerdes, Brueger's in Kenmore and some more
upscale brunch places to see if they can help.  So far though, it looks really good!

If any of you have any good ideas of how to keep the coffee warm that would be
much appreciated?  I.e. can we rent the coffee warmers or do we have to heat it
some other way?  Any other ideas or comments you have on this would be much
appreciated.
