[miso-users] Do I need to convert MISO eventID coordinates according to annotations?

Hello,

I had a question about the necessity of converting eventIDs

The GFF3 and indexing can be converted to hg38 coordinates:
https://github.com/roryk/miso-hg38-events
but the eventIDs themselves (ex: chr.... at chr...@...) stay as they are in
the old version.

When running on hg38-mapped bam files, and hg38 indexed annotations as made
above, would MISO care if the eventIDs are still from an older version (eg.
hg19)?

Would anyone know if these eventIDs treated as mere variables or is their
coordinates taken into account as well.
