Hi everyone,

We are still looking for interested volunteers to help out with the MIT
Mars Society's annual Boy Scout Space Exploration Merit Badge Workshop this
coming weekend. We will be hosting 70 scouts from the New England area to
learn about space science, technology, engineering, history, and current
events.

The workshop will be held this Saturday, April 30th, from 8am-4pm --- we
can use your help during whatever hours you're available!

The activities will include:

* short classes on rocket physics, orbital mechanics, space history, and
the solar system
* group design projects for planetary exploration spacecraft and
Earth-orbiting space stations
* launches of scout-built Estes model rockets on Briggs Field
* other events TBD ...

Please let me know if you're available to help, and any special interests
or ideas you may have.

Thanks,
  Thomas
