lars (cc macoartners)

here’s another one which works fine in OS X 10.11.x and breaks in macOS Sierra.
known bug or do i report it?

thanks
dk

========================

OS: macOS Sierra 10.12.2 (16C67) and 10.12.3.Beta (16D17a)
curl v: curl 7.51.0 (x86_64-apple-darwin16.0) libcurl/7.51.0 SecureTransport zlib/1.2.8

ISSUE:
curl cannot find specified certificate in keychain when using the ‘—cert’ option.

EXAMPLE:
DSK:~ dsk$ curl --cert "Duncan S Kincaid" --url https://web.mit.edu/cron/system/macathen/pkg_0/4Peaks_1.8.pkg > /tmp/4Peaks_1.8.pkg
curl: (58) SSL: Can't find the certificate "Duncan S Kincaid" and its private key in the Keychain.

yet the certificate is definitely there:

DSK:~ dsk$ security find-certificate -a -e dsk at mit.edu
keychain: "/afs/athena.mit.edu/user/d/s/dsk/MacData/Library/Keychains/login.keychain-db"
version: 512
class: 0x80001000
attributes:
	etc etc
    	"labl"<blob>="Duncan S Kincaid"
	etc etc

thanks
dk
