Good Afternoon,

Information Services & Technology (IS&T) is pleased to announce the release of SAPgui 7.30 rev 1 for the OS X Lion (10.7) and Mountain Lion (10.8) operating systems.

SAPgui for Mac 7.30 rev 1 is the latest and recommended release of the Macintosh SAPgui software. It supports OS X Lion (10.7) and Mountain Lion (10.8) users who need to access SAP components and products. Mac SAPgui users should plan to upgrade to version 7.30 rev 1 at their earliest convenience because, while previous versions may currently work with SAP, those versions are no longer supported by the software vendor.

Snow Leopard and Mavericks
OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) users must remain on 7.20 rev 4. IS&T recommends upgrading to newer hardware, running 7.30 using the Citrix Client Receiver for Mac, or installing SAPGui 7.30 patch level 5 for Windows on a Virtual Machine.

OS X Mavericks (10.9) is currently not supported by SAP. Newly purchased MIT-owned Macs may come with Mavericks preinstalled and cannot be downgraded. If your system falls into this category or you're an early adopter of Mavericks, IS&T recommends that you access SAPgui using Citrix or install SAPGui 7.30 patch level 5 for Windows on a Virtual Machine.
