[Macpartners] Fwd: Issue with Apple Mail v.7 and M+Google Mail

FYI - The University of Michigan is telling their Mac users to not use
Apple Mail 7 (included with Mavericks) with gMail accounts due to some
serious bugs:

If you have an Apple computer, we advise against using Apple Mail version 7
to connect to your gMail. The update to Apple Mail version 7 is included in
the newest version of OS X, Mavericks.

This version of Apple Mail is known to cause significant issues when
connected to Google Mail accounts. Issues range from duplicated messages to
entire mailboxes being deleted. Messages affected by Apple Mail in your
gMail account cannot be restored or repaired. The risk is greater if you
upgraded to Mavericks from a previous operating system version. Until Apple
resolves the issue, your email data may be at risk.
