Marion,

You can set your out of office message using the following steps:

  1. Log into http://owa.mit.edu
  2. In the upper right-hand corner click Options
  3. You will see either a pull down menu with Set Automatic Replies, or a menu on the right with an option for Out of Office Assistant
  4. Enter your Out of Office message, and turn it on
  5. Click Save

Have a good vacation!

Jess Smith

Subject: [Macpartners] Exchange vacation email - what happened to it?

Hi -

A long time ago I used to be able to go to an MIT web page and enter the fact that I would be out on a particular day, and people who emailed me on that day would get an auto-reply saying I was out.

Then it turned into a thing where I had to go to Exchange and enter more information - and a classier auto-response would happen.

Where is it now? I can't find it, and I'm trying to be on vacation today!!!

Marion
